Product Warranty

At Dnipro-Abraziv.com, we guarantee the high quality of all products in our assortment. This warranty policy is developed in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Consumer Protection," and also takes into account the main principles of Directive 1999/44/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council (on certain aspects of the sale of consumer goods and associated guarantees), ensuring your rights as a consumer.

1. General Provisions

  • We provide a warranty for all products sold on our website, unless otherwise specified in the description of a particular product.
  • The warranty period for the product begins from the date of sale, indicated in the settlement document (receipt, invoice, payment slip).
  • For abrasive materials, as consumables, the warranty covers manufacturing defects that prevent the product from being used as intended, and does not cover natural wear and tear during operation.

2. Consumer Rights in Case of Product Defects

According to Article 8 of the Law of Ukraine "On Consumer Protection," if product defects caused by the manufacturer (seller) are found within the established warranty period, you have the right to demand:

  • A proportional reduction in price.
  • Free elimination of product defects within a reasonable period.
  • Reimbursement of expenses for eliminating product defects.
  • Replacement with the same product or an analogous product available from the seller (manufacturer).
  • Termination of the contract and refund of the amount paid for the product.

If significant defects are found within the warranty period (those that make the product impossible or unacceptable for its intended use, occurred due to the manufacturer's fault, and cannot be eliminated), you have the right to terminate the contract and receive a refund or product replacement.

3. Warranty Service Conditions

To claim warranty service or report product defects, you must provide:

  • The product with complete set and, preferably, original packaging.
  • The original settlement document confirming the date and fact of purchase.
  • An identification document.

Warranty service may be refused in the following cases:

  • Expiration of the warranty period.
  • Violation of the product's operating rules specified by the manufacturer.
  • Presence of mechanical damage caused by improper use, dropping, impact, or other external factors.
  • Self-repair or modification of the product's design.
  • Damage caused by natural disasters (fire, flood, etc.).

4. Warranty Claim Procedure

  1. Contact our customer support by phone or email listed on the Site.
  2. Describe the problem and provide the order number, purchase date, and photos/videos (if possible) for a preliminary assessment of the situation.
  3. Our specialists will provide you with instructions on further actions: sending the product for examination or repair, or other possible solutions.
  4. After receiving and inspecting the product, we will inform you about the results of the examination and possible solutions in accordance with this policy and applicable law.
